A fantastic dining experience. Service was excellent too. However, a couple of things to take note of: 1. Make sure you show up on time! 2. Service will be in Japanese. 3. Be prepared to spend 3 hours from start to finish. But in all honesty, it was worth the visit and anyone passing by Kyoto should see if they can squeeze it into their trip plans.

Excellence for fair price relative to other course menus. Good wines and service as well. Great use of Japan's ingredients in an enjoyable menu that shows creativity but constraint at the same time. My only complaint was their amuse bouche cookie was pretty ordinary and didn't...amuse.
