Delicious place to stop after hiking around the area. I stopped after a long day on Yamanobe no Michi and had the tempura nyuumen set, and it was absolutely delicious. 1000yen for a big bowl of nyumen, a few pieces of tempura and three fresh, delicious pieces of sushi. The owners are lovely especially the kindly obaasan who greeted and chatted with me. There's also delicious ocha that is free with your meal. Right by Miwa station so a great place to grab a meal before going home for the day.

The atmosphere of an old-fashioned shop. Water is self-service. If you order a set, sushi will come with it. The sushi made with the fish the staff caught was very large, sweet, and delicious! This time, it was yellowtail, sea bream, and horse mackerel.
