Songshan District, Taipei City｜Da Yao Izakaya Restaurant

A cozy place to hang out with friends I have been looking for various types of Japanese foods for friend gatherings for many years. When my friend recommended it, it was spot on. Dayao Japanese Bar is located near Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station. The food was beyond amazing and the vibe was cozy. We have been to this bar many times. We ordered lots of seafood dishes, like sashimi, and nigiri sushi, they all test fresh and full of flavors. One of the best dishes is their Scallop Sea Urchin burger which is expensive for one bite though, but definitely worth the value for money. We also had their signature comfort food like Stir-Fried Salmon Udon every time, you can come after work and have one plate of this for dinner and feel satisfied. On the downside, the space of the bar is tiny. We can hear other people's conversations. But the closer seats are also its feature. Shoulder by shoulder, I feel closer to my friends and relaxed. The wall decorates with lots of Japanese objects make me feel like we are literally in Japan. Overall, the staff was also attentive. I can say it loud I give them five out of five, and definitely recommend it.
