Marvelous ramen! Try either shoyu (soy sauce-base soup) ramen or shio (salt-base soup) ramen, all without artificial flavors. It's located in Tsurumi along ancient Tokaido route (from Tokyo to Kyoto or Osaka, designated in 1600 by Tokugawa Shogunate), just few minutes walk to the west from JR Tsurumi Train Station or Keikyu-Tsurumi Train Station. This ramen shop named after a former famous tea shop and soba (buckwheat) noodle restaurant.

This place could give you the best ramen experience. I come back this ramen place very often, wondering around other ones though.

Visited around 11:30 on a Saturday lunchtime. Several customers were eating inside the restaurant. There are more than 10 seats at the counter only. There is a meal ticket system, and you purchase a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine right after entering the store and take a seat. Salt ramen seems to be popular, but this time I ordered soy sauce ramen and small rice because of my personal preference. The soup had a strong seafood broth and was very delicious. It is said to be non-abrasive so it is very mild. The noodles were thin and matched the soup. The ingredients are chashu, menma, rock nori, and green onions. All of them were very delicious, but the rock nori gives it a seaside feel and accentuates the flavor. Many people seem to add additional toppings. This time, I ordered a small bowl of rice, which I can rate. It was cooked to a firm consistency, perhaps to match the ramen. It's scary when rice comes out soggy. I was happy to see that even a small place like this was tidy. There is a wide variety of menus, from light dishes to more difficult dishes like tandan noodles without soup. The customer service and operations were very pleasant and I had no problems.
