Zhongzheng District, Taipei City｜初 拉麵&煎餃

A Taiwanese cafe offering ramen with flat noodles, so it’s not authentic but it is tasty! Also ordered the Chashao Fan that came with some veggies, and it was tasty. The kimchi is very close to Korean style. The menu seems to only be in Mandarin. Water is cold (yay)! Highly recommend this quick and delicious lunch spot!

The fried dumplings are very delicious, and there is a lot of soup when you bite them. Although the soup of the ramen is a little salty, it is still palatable for someone who does not like heavy salty food. The soup can also have a rich taste. The ingredients are also generous.

Finally a decent shoyu ramen (kitakata style). Simple but tasty! I chose Japanese style broth (not sure what Taiwanese is). Medium noodle firmness. Everything was cooked very well. I also ordered a side of chashu rice which was absolutely delicious! I'll be back!
