Went to the famous ramen alley at sapporo, and decided to hop on to this tiny ramen shop. As name suggests, the alley comprise of range of ramen shops with unique specialities (there are those specializing in scallop broth, chicken broth and the most popular being the miso-based broth in sapporo). Baisensha itself specializes in miso ramen with the popular choice being the normal miso ramen (careful with the spicy one because the heat was really intense). Entering the shop, you’d be surprised at how small the place is, but dont let that fool you because the rich broth of the ramen really does expand a bring you to a whole new world of flavor. The miso broth is thick, and rich inaddition to the springy ramen noodles which has a texture similar to that of “mie karet” from indonesia. The chasiu pork served on the side was smoky and tender which really complements the whole meal. I suggest you order an egg to further elevate your ramen as i regret forgetting to order it 🤣. Oh one more thing, the lady serving us was really really kind and it made the whole experience even more wonderful with such a homey feeling surrounding our meal. I would surely recommend this place to anyone visiting sapporo.

I tried the fish and miso ramen and it was really tasty! The broth is actually very flavorful and was the best part of the entire dish, with the cha siu coming in as close second. The noodles are nice and firm, just the way I like it. The only thing that could be improved is the egg in the ramen; it wasn't as creamy and flavorful as I wanted it to be. This may be my preference, but I like when my bamboo pieces are bite size, but the ones in the ramen were really long and quite big. It's really easy ordering from the machine as it supports English, Korean, and Chinese. The staff are really quick with their service and professional. Definitely recommend this ramen restaurant in the ramen alley!

Small and cozy place. Order and pay at machine first. A chef prepares the ramen in front of you - quite quickly too. Great taste, keep it up!
