Randomly chose this place to eat at while biking. Don't speak too much Japanese so it was a bit hard to order. Asked if they could give me their best dish using Google translate. They were really nice and patient with us trying to figure out what to cook for us. We ended up with an amazing meal. Will come here again.

A mom and pop store that sells a variety of dishes. It may take a while to get your order, but it's worth it! The dishes were all well presented and tasted good too! The menu is all in japanese so I showed them a picture from another review and they understood haha. It's cash-only fyi

Tamaya Shokudo is located along National Route 1 in Oiso Town.I happened to be passing by and came across this restaurant.You can have a set meal for an additional 350 yen on top of the individual dishes. I love fried shrimp, so I ordered the fried shrimp set meal without hesitation! ️ It comes with 4 very large fried shrimps, rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, and cold tofu.It's very filling and comes with tartar sauce. We had delicious. This restaurant is recommended for those who like fish, such as sashimi, boiled fish, and grilled fish.
