Boss is very kind. Food is good ! Highly recommend

Small shop run by a couple. It was our first experience in a yakiniku restaurant, and we spoke very little Japanese. The chef spoke limited English, but was still very friendly and helpful for teaching us how to cook everything and pair the sauce properly. Food was delicious with reasonable price. The only thing that made our overall experience less good was that there were two other half-drunk local customers who kinda made fun of us, but that was not the fault of the shop and owner at all.

I visited this place after wandering around the streets because all the yakuniku stores were full. It said on Google that it was closed, but I saw a sign so I went to check it out and found out that it was open. The two people didn't seem to be familiar with the Internet, so I think the business hours weren't displayed properly on Google Maps. That was great luck for us. It is a very small restaurant with about 6 seats at the bar table and 2 in the room. The grandfather prepares the meat, and the grandmother is in charge of serving and cooking. These two people were the kindest and most professional Japanese people I've ever met. They tell you how well each part of the meat should be cooked to taste good, and provide a sauce to match. I ordered assorted grilled vegetables, but please wait until even a small piece of onion is grilled to its most delicious state. They always told us the sauce that goes well with each vegetable. I was wearing clothes with wide sleeves, and before the meal, he personally put elastic bands on my arms to keep my clothes from falling down, and then prepared the meal. Even in situations where communication was not easy, he used a translator or tried his best to talk through body language. When leaving the restaurant, he asked us one by one if we had lost anything, and he never forgot to remind us to close our clothes because it was cold outside. They are such sweet and lovely people. The meat is really good too. I had premium beef tongue, ribs, sagari, sirloin, and hormones, and all the meat was really delicious, fresh, and good. It was seasoned meat, but I liked it because the seasoning wasn't too strong. It was exquisite as it was seasoned only as needed without compromising the taste of the meat. Especially on this day, new beef tongue was delivered (my grandfather showed it to me and boasted about it haha) and it was really fantastic. I ordered it twice. (My recommendations are premium beef tongue and sirloin.) Although it is a small and simple store, I thought it was a great store run by sincere people when I saw the grease-free kitchen, hood, and clean cutlery. Compared to the speed of commonly encountered fast food restaurants, this restaurant is not fast. But there is deep kindness, thoughtfulness, and delicacy within it. Of course, honesty and thoroughness. Looking at the website, it says that this store is celebrating its 41st anniversary this year. Over the course of 41 years, the two of you must have shown great hospitality to so many people. A delicious, warm meal too. If I go to Sapporo again someday, I want to tell you that I came back to Sapporo because I miss this place. Until then, I hope you are always healthy. (Check whether the store is open by looking at the sign in front of the store rather than using Google Maps. On days when the store is not open, the sign is not on the road.)
