Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan｜うなぎ藤

A local homemade charcoal grilled Unagi not far from Aeon Town. The restaurant is family owned ana not so large. We found this restaurant by chance on the way to Aeon Town. The owner is very friendly. We order 2 set of large Unagi which taste very delicious. Although it is a little pricey but worth taste and quality. Highly recommend.

On the way back from my trip to Yamagata, I got off at Koriyama and looked for an eel restaurant. ︎ Shirayaki was especially delicious! I forgot the picture, but pickles were also a heaping service. I want to stop by again.

Best! I got a good impression from the bright lady's voice and response when making a reservation over the phone. When I went there, the uncle and aunt were smiling, and the atmosphere inside was very good! The tatami room is comfortable and relaxing. All seats are non-smoking. I ate Unagi Shigeume (3,100 yen excluding tax), but I was very satisfied with the amount of eel that covered the rice. The thoughtfulness of "please tell me if you don't have enough rice" is also good. If you have any leftovers, you can take them home with you. If you want to eat eel in Koriyama, this is the place.
