Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Tempura Kobashi

Great food and the owner can speak English to explain the ingredients used. My 9yo daughter loved the oysters so much she had two! We had the 7000 yen menu and everything was executed perfectly. I’ve had more expensive and fancy tempuras before but this place is great value for money. The location on google map is not very accurate, it brings you to the back entrance instead whereby there’s no lift up to the 3rd floor. You have to find a door that goes through the other side where the lifts is located.

Super delicious cuisine! The master is really nice and patient in explaining everything. They do not have English menu though.

TL;DR: Will eat here again if visiting Sapporo ☑️ Cozy, friendly, and the first choice for tempura every time I’m coming to Sapporo. Tempura is well balanced, crispiness, richness combined really well with freshness of ingredients. The chef is know how to make it suit your palette.
