Very nice Japanese sweets that goes extremely well either Taiwan tea (cha) or British Earl Grey even Breakfast tea. Strongly recommended. Must try if you are in Taipei. Side note: they are very sweet. But sweets are supposed to be sweet. My combos are green bean, red bean, strawberry, tangerine and so on.

This is an old store of more than 80 years You can buy one or two at a time and try it out, it’s delicious and special! Chestnut Chestnuts wrapped in chestnut mud Chestnut puree adds very little sugar, mainly the sweetness of the chestnut itself Taste is a very harmonious and moderate chestnut aroma I just found out that chestnut puree is so delicious today (? Biting through the chestnut puree to the chestnut taste is very subtle Zhao Xue It's actually a banana The ones sold here are only made of glutinous rice It tastes very solid and dense Then there will be rice fragrance, the more you eat, the more obvious it will be I quite like the rice fragrance, although it is light but has a very aftertaste, it goes well with the banana flavor But a big piece tastes a little sweet the most In fact, it is red beans with bread and honey in the cake shell. The boss said it was very sweet and could be eaten with tea But I think it's okay, not too sweet to make people uncomfortable Honey red bean, honey is the main red bean supplemented A touch of red bean fragrance, very honey but not too sweet Glutinous rice taste with cake shell It tastes mild(?) Very good with tea

Awesome Mochi! As you can see from the pics, the mochi layer is so thin. We were brought there by a local who told us it is a family own and the 90+’year old founder went to Japan to learn this perfect technique.
