More Comments at Google MapI happened to pop in and two seats at the counter (in front of the cash register) were vacant, so I was able to enter. It seems difficult to get there on Saturdays and Sundays if you don't have a reservation. I ordered a pork cutlet set meal (Yamato pork) and a Nanban pickled horse mackerel set. Yamato pork is delicious! Are horse mackerel pickled in Nanban and boiled vegetables also Japanese cuisine? It's so delicious that I thought it was. Considering the location of Karuizawa and the amount and deliciousness of the food, The extremely reasonable price is also attractive. I came here on a motorcycle tour, and one of the attractions of traveling is meeting good shops. This was definitely a memorable encounter. The courteous service and friendly conversation from the store staff was also wonderful. This is a store I would like to visit again.
The price wasn't high, and the vegetables were nice and fresh!
I received sweet natto of flower beans as a return item for the hometown tax donation. When I asked the owner, he said that they use grade A beans. I was also particular about the cultivation method. As for the taste, in a word, it is an elegant sweetness. The texture was moist and soft, and it was a sweet natto of flower beans with a gentle taste. I don't like the rich sweetness of white sugar, Ayame-tei's amanatto was delicious with a gentle sweetness, perhaps because of the natural sweetness of the beans. I had green tea with me, but this goes well with it. People around me loved it. I have never visited the restaurant, but I hope to have a meal someday.
