Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan｜kitchen heights

If you're looking for a nice, hot, delicious meal after getting off the shinkansen at Karuizawa station, this is the place to be. It's just in the corner of the street when you get down the huge staircase at the exit. It's quite busy during lunchtime but the staff serves well and with a smile. They don't accept credit cards or any e-payment, just cash but still, I'd come back next time I visit Karuizawa.

Friendly staff and really nice well priced food

Very authentic Japanese-Western style restaurant, pork chop rice with egg, pork chop sandwich, and pasta stew are all excellent. The restaurant also provides an English menu with pictures for easy ordering.
