This is my first visit. I arrived just before 12:00 on Saturday. The parking lot 🅿️ seems to be able to park 4 or 5 cars in front of the store. I was lucky because there was exactly one space available✌🏻 When you enter the store, there is a menu at the top right ↗️, so you will be guided to your seat after ordering. This time it’s cutlet curry🍛😋 Table seats, counter seats, and window seats, this time I used the window seat. While you're waiting, there are sightseeing pamphlets available, so you can kill time with them⏰ The cutlet curry arrived in about 5 minutes ❗️ The meat is Yamato pork 🐷 Soft and delicious 😋 The curry is delicious because it contains healthy ingredients such as mushrooms and beans, and the spices spread in your mouth at the end. A small bowl of pickled rakkyo and purple cabbage? This was also delicious👌🏻 It's nice to eat curry while looking at the scenery outside. There is a feeling of openness 😁

Delicious😋🍴💕 Lunch set meals include ginger-grilled local pork, teriyaki chicken, and grilled salmon. All of these can be eaten for around 1,200 yen. No matter what you order, you can tell that the owner's work is thorough, the ingredients are fresh, and he cares about his customers. The set meal alone comes with small side dishes and mini salads, so you can eat about 20 items. Depending on the season, the tofu is cut into small squares and added to the miso soup with kelp and ginger. I'm sure some people don't like it, but it gives you a sense of the season. It was a feast.

Near Yamba Dam. We are particular about local ingredients. At first glance, the proprietress serves customers with a carefree attitude, but she is actually kind to children and has a wonderful personality. I stay in Karuizawa for about a month a year, but in Shinshu I tend to go for soba. As with Chikuma's Gin no Hitsuji, stopping by one of these local favorites will leave you with a lasting memory of your trip, where you'll discover something unexpected and eat something local. The pork used in the dish is sweet but not greasy, and is soft enough for children to eat. The rice, miso soup and pickles are also delicious. Tonkatsu is a completely different direction than the specialty store, but it is delicious. It's cheap and family-friendly. However, I think it is better to put the sauce in a special container. At least remove the price sticker. Even if I don't visit Yanba Dam, I want to go all the way again.
