I found a very delicious and cheap yakiniku restaurant. This is Hakuuntei located in the urban area of ​​Annaka City, Gunma Prefecture. Along with the ramen and ice cream banners along the road, there was a yakiniku sign with an elaborate roaster on top, so it was easy to find it. The parking lot next to the store, which has a very Showa-era atmosphere, is almost full, mostly with prefectural license plates. It was after 1pm on a weekday, but it was a popular restaurant. I was prepared for a long line when I visited, so I was lucky that there were no customers waiting. There was a space that looked like a waiting room next to the entrance, so depending on the time of day there might be a long line inside the store. After writing my name on the waiting board in front of the cash register and waiting for about 5 minutes, I was passed to a table for 4 people and quickly ordered the short ribs set meal. It costs 800 yen with a refill of rice, salad, soup, main ribs, and iced coffee. It's not even above average. It's been a long time since I've had yakiniku at a roaster, and it was very tender and I enjoyed the spicy and sweet sauces. Both soup and salad are delicious. Of course, you can also order soft and delicious rice, making this a hearty set meal. Regular customers seem to be eating pork loin set meals and hamburger steak set meals, so it seems that a wide variety of dishes are popular. If it were near my house, I would want to go there every day. It was very delicious
