Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan｜Usagi no mori

This is a small family restaurant with great service. There is 1 chef and 1 waitress, who were both very friendly and provided great service. I stopped here for dinner with my family while in Karuizawa for a ski trip. We got 3 types of set dinners (beef katsu, Hawaii pork, and cheese hamburg). The set came with rice, soup and salad. It was all very delicious and a great deal (less than ¥2000 per person for the full set).

Excellent food and very comfy atmosphere. The woman who runs this restaurant is very nice and friendly. The menu is not in English but the food is very western, which made it easy to order for a group of tourists. The prices are great too! We got 4 steak dinners and a katsu dinner each with rice and miso soup for very good price. Everything was delicious. You should go here!

The Katsu Curry was amazing. The salad and soup were great too. Spouse got the hamburg, but like the curry better. Lots of meat in it!
