More Comments at Google MapWe were looking for food around Karuizawa late at night. Fortunately this shop was open. Friendly service and great soba served. Highly recommended!
This is a historic Showa-era retro restaurant that started as an inn in the Meiji era when the Shinetsu Line opened. When I visited the place for the first time in a while on Sunday around 5pm, it was quite busy. After all, cutlet curry is the most delicious💖 It's not spicy at all, so small children and their parents can enjoy it together. The map of Karuizawa from the Meiji period posted next to the cash register is also a must-see. We also have many valuable history books about Karuizawa and the Shinetsu Line that you can read for free, so if you are interested in the history of Karuizawa, please check it out!
This is a hidden gem Japanese style restaurant from the 1985s near Karuizawa Station. I think the tables and lighting have probably been used since the Showa era. Karimoku was written on the chair. It's comfortable to sit on. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and can comfortably accommodate everyone from families to individuals. I came to the store on a Saturday, and while the outlet food court is extremely crowded and crowded, this place is peaceful. This restaurant is perfect for families with babies and small children. The store is on the second floor, so it may not be suitable for people with weak legs or wheelchairs. There is space to put your suitcase. The taste is just as delicious as the outlet food court ^_^ I want to repeat it again♪ The rating of 3.5 is pathetic because malicious people have given it a low rating. In the city, you might pay a lot of money for a Showa-style restaurant, but this one is the real deal.
