More Comments at Google MapI really like this place and the food that granny and grandpa serve. It was a random choice to pick this place for late lunch and early dinner. Think granny is resting but she readily starts to prepare the dinner once I've decided on the dishes. It turns out that the soba they serve is freshly made by grandpa, who has a studio right in the kitchen to show him kneading the dough and cutting the noodles. For the first time, I tasted myoga tempura and was offered sobayu, where all the nutrients of the soba are in the boiling water. Out of curiosity, after the meal, I asked granny if those tomatoes that are on the table are nice. Then I bought a packet to try but granny tossed in another small packet of tomatoes as プレゼント. Truthfully, the tomatoes really are fantastic: they are soft, sweet and juicy and should be eaten on their own. ごちそう様でした!
Yesterday (2023.08.05) I had delicious soba after a long time at the soba restaurant Kaze 😀 I had a large serving of grated radish soba, and the amount and taste were great 👍 My family had a large serving of whitebait and tempura soba, and they were happy that it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Last time, I visited during Golden Week because of work, but this time there were lots of beautiful flowers such as lotus azaleas, rhododendrons, and mountain lilies. I'm sure the shop owner is raising and managing it, and it seems like I'm eating it in the flower garden 🌸 Also, if you bring your pet, there is a terrace seat, so you can eat with your pet there. Yesterday, the person with the dog seemed happy, saying, "We usually eat bento from convenience stores, but today we were able to eat together." There were three goats on the other side of the flower garden, so I said hello. I visited her on my way back from a trip to Kusatsu. This is a 100 percent soba restaurant located in a peaceful landscape. It was a cold, snowy day, but I was relieved to be greeted by the kind smiles of the staff at the store. I wonder if Juwari Soba is a little messy on its own? That's what I imagined, but it went down smoothly and was very delicious. The tempura was also crispy and very delicious. I ordered additional Maitake mushroom tempura and was surprised by the huge amount. I didn't think I could finish it all, but it was so delicious that my husband and I ended up devouring it. I had a great time eating slowly in the soft warmth of the wood stove while listening to the sound of soba noodles being pounded. It was a great satisfaction.
