Visited at 4:10pm on a weekend evening. “Suikoen” is one of the shops on the Mizusawa Udon Kaido that is open until 5:00 PM. The inside of the store is clean and spacious with a calm atmosphere. This time, I ordered "Zaru Udon" 790 yen, A set 330 yen and "Umeboshi Tempura". For the dipping sauce, I chose “sesame walnut sauce”. There are many Mizusawa udon shops that offer sesame sauce and sesame soup, but I think it is rare to find a shop that offers sesame kurumi sauce. Udon is a noodle with a slippery texture. I think it goes down well and goes well with dipping sauce. You can enjoy 3 different salty flavors for tempura. I think it's good to have a vessel that is color-coded for each salt species. "Umeboshi tempura" is quite sour, but it's refreshing in the mouth, so it's a good rest for chopsticks. After your meal, you can get free popsicles from the freezer next to the cash register. I think that the staff will be polite and you can eat comfortably.
