More Comments at Google MapVisited at 4:10pm on a weekend evening. “Suikoen” is one of the shops on the Mizusawa Udon Kaido that is open until 5:00 PM. The inside of the store is clean and spacious with a calm atmosphere. It seems that they are particular about the tableware, and they use elegant tableware, so you can enjoy cooking with your eyes. This time, I ordered "Zaru Udon" 790 yen, A set 330 yen and "Umeboshi Tempura". For the dipping sauce, I chose “sesame walnut sauce”. There are many Mizusawa udon shops that offer sesame sauce and sesame soup, but I think it is rare to find a shop that offers sesame kurumi sauce. Udon is a noodle with a slippery texture. I think it goes down well and goes well with dipping sauce. You can enjoy 3 different salty flavors for tempura. I think it's good to have a vessel that is color-coded for each salt species. "Umeboshi tempura" is quite sour, but it's refreshing in the mouth, so it's a good rest for chopsticks. After your meal, you can get free popsicles from the freezer next to the cash register. I think that the staff will be polite and you can eat comfortably.
We had the tempura udon set and tantan udon. The tempura udon was chewy and chewy, and the tantan udon didn't feel as chewy as the tempura udon, but the soup was very delicious. The udon was delicious, but I was blown away by the tempura! The pumpkin was very sweet, and the broccoli and maitake mushrooms were really delicious, which surprised me. There are many udon restaurants, but Suikoen was the right answer (*^^*)
There are many famous Mizusawa udon restaurants in the area, but Suikoen is by far the most delicious one. The texture of the udon is very delicious. Freshly fried tempura. At other famous restaurants, maitake mushroom tempura was obviously made in advance and the oil in the clothing was oxidized and could not be eaten, but this is different. Personally, it is number one in udon town.
