More Comments at Google MapIt's near Yokogawa station. The restaurant opens at 10:00, but the water is boiled after that, so the soba starts at 10:30. You can eat both on the platform and outside the ticket gate. There are tables outside the ticket gate, so it is recommended. Raw soba is freshly boiled and chewy. The soup is not as thick as it looks and is mild. I always have Tentama soba. You can be satisfied with the large tempura. The green onions that come with it are so delicious that you won't believe it's near the station. On weekdays, they have Kaedama. It will be quite a volume, so if you have a meal plan after that, it is better not to replace it. I have eaten parent and child soba on Saturdays and Sundays, but I think Tentama soba is still good.
You can enjoy station soba and udon. I got such a station soba, which seems to have returned to the Showa era. It was 400 yen for wild vegetable soba and 1200 yen for takeout. Shichimi chili peppers are sprinkled at the counter for ordering and receiving.
Arrived at 11:20 on Saturday, March 5, 2022. 1 front customer, 1 rear customer. There are about 7 parking spaces next to the station, but most of them are parked and gone somewhere else. There was only one space available. For those who drive to Yokogawa Station, other parking lots were considered (I think it depends on the day of the week and time). There is a toilet next to the parking lot. I ordered tempura soba for 430 yen. Pay directly to the clerk, not at the ticket vending machine. The rice bowl is ready in about 3 minutes. It's a bit cold, but the soba noodles eaten at the table outside are delicious. The homemade soba noodles are thin and the tempura is better than other standing soba noodles. The green onions are delicious, not crunchy like some chain restaurants. Tsuyu is Kanto-style, but the color and flavor are not strong. Apparently there was no water (water cooler, etc.). Comes with chopsticks and shichimi chili pepper. A young and cute girl made it today. Eki soba restaurants are closing down (the standing soba restaurant on the Oyama station platform closed a while ago), and more and more places are renovating and becoming chain stores, so I hope that the tasteful station soba like this one will remain. I want it.
