Maebashi, Gunma, Japan｜King God Burger

This was such a fun burger! It was very Japanese-style because it was served with an egg and some sort of curry sauce. Also, the french fries were lovely, and the portion size was great too. Some hamburger places will give you only a handful of fries, but they are much better with portion size here. Also of note: this is not a standalone restaurant, but one of many inside a road side station. The facilities are really nice.

Best place ever. The parking can be tricky, but I’m not docking a star for that. Parking should not deter anyone from eating here. The server was very helpful with the parking. She spoke English very well. She was very friendly and patient with us. My 8-year old got a cheeseburger with a nugget/fries combo. I got a salad and a King God burger. It looks intimidating, but it’s eatable. The food takes a little time, but it’s worth the wait. All good things come to those that wait. Also, just for fun, they had Back to the Future 2 playing on the TV in English. I highly recommend this place. I’d go every week if I lived in Gunma.
