You can eat crispy steamed buns grilled over charcoal. The price is a little higher than other restaurants, but the rich miso sauce and crispy fried manju go very well together. The lunch set includes yakisoba and fried manju at a great value! The store has a nice atmosphere and I would like to visit again.

A friendly lady who looked like someone from Omoumai store was doing it. Lunch was a set of yakisoba and fried manju for 550 yen, so the price was very reasonable. The fried manju has a unique crispy skin. I'm from Gunma, so I'm picky about fried manju, but this is the first time I've had fried manju with such a crispy texture. The surface skin had a fragrance reminiscent of karinto manju. Yakisoba is spicy. The fried manju is sweet, so the spicy seasoning goes well with it. After the meal, I ordered shaved ice, which was 200 yen and had plenty of ice. I couldn't finish it all. I think it's a good store. Maybe I'll appear in Omoumai someday. Added April 2020: I came back because I wanted to try the unique fried manju here. When I brought my children there, they served me sweet potato soup as a service. I'm sorry that the service was so good.

Grilled manju is famous as a soul food in Gunma Prefecture, but Sukehiraya has a unique flavor that is completely different from Harajimaya in Maebashi or Numata City. When it comes to fried manju, this restaurant has the best taste. I usually have it as takeout, but this was the first time I had it on the spot. You can have a set lunch with Yakisoba for 550 yen.
