Ota, Gunma, Japan｜Mangetsu

This is a soba restaurant located in Kizaki, Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. It is located immediately to the right of the Kizaki intersection heading towards Ota City. Up to 6 cars can be parked. Recommended items are the three-colored soba noodles and the lunch-only kakiage. By the way, the three colors are Sarashina (poppy cut, and in winter, you can also choose yuzu cut), Nihachi, and Inaka. The chef trained at Ashikaga's famous restaurant Issa-an, and the soba and soup are also top-notch. I've eaten soba in many places, but personally, the soba here is the most delicious. They also sell udon, so there might be aimori as well. Lunch sets are available on weekdays. The soba comes with either tatsuta fried rice bowl, tempura bowl, or sauce chicken cutlet bowl. It's quite a filling lunch, but it's a popular lunch.
