Kiryu, Gunma, Japan｜相川庵

I found it on my way to Houtokuji and stopped by! On the way there, I searched for good soba restaurants and found that most of them were closed on Mondays, so I had just given up! I was a little worried about the appearance, but both the udon and soba noodles were handmade and very delicious. The reviews said that the onigiri was delicious, so I ordered some more, and the salted rice balls had just the right amount of salt, and the wild vegetables that came with them were very delicious😃

Located near the Watarase River, Gunma is the place to be. Udon was better than soba. It was cold so I ordered curry nanban udon.

I have never had udon better than this.
