Kiryu, Gunma, Japan｜うなよし

Unagiju with a sauce that tastes like burnt soy sauce that is not sweet. The salad, small bowls, and pickles were voluminous and delicious. The owner and staff were very friendly and made me feel at home.I have a preference for eel, so it's hard to recommend, but this place is really delicious.

2022/7/30 My wife told me that we shouldn't eat eel in the summer, so we went to a nearby eel restaurant together. I don't really like eel, but the eel here is delicious! The eel was tender, and the sauce wasn't too sweet or salty, just the way I like it. I'm satisfied with the price as it comes with a variety of side dishes. However, even though we were the only customers, we waited over 35 minutes for someone to come out, so if you're going, it's better to make a reservation. There is only one type of Unajyu. Maybe it was because I waited over 35 minutes that I felt it was delicious...(lol)

It was the first time I ate unaju with kenchin soup and salad.
