More Comments at Google MapFound a nice shop on the way back from Raiden Shrine! I was thinking of going in someday. The day is finally here! There are two choices of basic ramen or yakisoba. I got a large bowl of ramen. tastes normal. However, such a long-established store is not only about taste. The atmosphere in the store, the gentle conversation with the owner, and the handwritten words pasted here and there. I feel the Showa era in Bing. Five stars! I added yakisoba to take home on the way home. Thank you for the meal.
A yakisoba restaurant that has been around for a long time and is known only to those in the know. There is a festival held at nearby Raiden Shrine in May, and it's so delicious that when I was a kid, I would always stop by and eat it. The sauce is not sticky like Otafuku sauce, but is seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, similar to Tsukiboshi sauce in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture. I can't get enough of this sauce. In addition to yakisoba, there are ramen, stew oden (in winter), and miso oden. The ramen is not hand-made, but has a Chinese soba feel reminiscent of the Showa era, and the simple taste is so addictive that you'll want to eat it regularly. The stew oden does not have fancy ingredients like those found in oden shops, and it is served as a set, with konnyaku and chikuwa to choose from. The best part is the egg, which has so much flavor that you wonder how long it takes to boil it to become like this. The price is also very reasonable. There is no air conditioning, so there is a wall fan in the summer. In winter, it's not like having a round stove and a dining room. The interior, which looks like an old candy shop that has been remodeled, supports these flavors and continues to mark the passing of time. The shopkeeper's aunt is also 85 years old. 90, 100, I hope you will continue to take care of yourself and continue to provide us with delicious yakisoba.
It was a little bland, but it was delicious. Both the auntie and the customers were kind people.
