This is a store where people often line up well in advance. I think there are a lot of older women looking for lunch. It's a limited menu, so it's best to get there early and wait. Today's kamameshi was the August limited 20-meal lunch set (salmon kamameshi, fried white fish with light ankake sauce, kidney beans and tuna salad with lemon-lemon onion dressing, eggplant with Isobe plum sauce, udon noodles, and tuna sashimi). Everything is delicious and satisfying. Coffee and tea are provided for lunch, and you have to pick them up yourself. Since it's a hot season, they also bring cold barley tea. I arrived around 10:45 and took the number, but it was number 2. It fills up quickly, so it's best to get your order early. There are table seats and tatami seats. I think you could also use a credit card for payment (I didn't really look at it because my mother treated me to it).
