Kusatsu, Gunma, Japan｜とん香

We had some delicious dinner tonight after we tried a different place and found it closed. There was a line to wait outside after you write your name down. We probably only waited 15 minutes or so before being invited in. The menu is simple and has good options. The pork is all locally sourced. We found it be very delicious and the service was friendly and quick!

The best tonkatsu in Japan. Better than famous places in Tokyo.

Best restaurant for pork tonkatsu in Kusatsu. Only this dish in 120 220 n 300gm in set meal. Nothing else and this is why it so delicious with various sauces and finely shredded cabbage. 8 mins walk from tourist centre but well worth it if looking for tonkatsu after soba meals.
