Minakami, Gunma, Japan｜五郎兵衛うどん

Very good set menu of traditional Japanese taste. I recommend the “fried shiitake mushroom set”. Mushrooms are very good, with a butter taste, big bowl of rice and pickled vegetables. Also, udon teishoku, which will be cooked on fire in front of you. The place is very spacious and can take many visitors at once. Hot herbal tea is served for free.

Randomly stopped for a quick lunch and I’m really glad! These kind of place are getting rare, it’s authentic and tasty as you would expect from a udon restaurant. They also serve soba, pork over rice etc.
