perfect date in Numata

I went to Numata, Gunma Prefecture on a business trip. For lunch, we went to this restaurant that was highly rated on Google Maps. It's about an 8 minute walk from the station. We were just getting ready to open. While I was there, the store was full! It's a popular store. I ordered the fresh fish pickled bowl gozen (today's daily special) for 980 yen. I wasn't expecting much since it's a prefecture with no sea, but the inada, mackerel, and coriander were marinated nicely, and I was able to enjoy the natural flavor of the fish and it was delicious. Above all, the small bowl is elaborate! Japanese pickles go well with fresh incense! The bowl is udon noodles with plenty of vegetables. An egg wrapped in dashi soup that is dripping with dashi soup. The Japanese yam was refreshing, and it was a hot day, so I felt refreshed. I probably won't be going to Numata again, which is a shame. I wonder if I can visit it again on my way back from Minakami Onsen?

I had a very delicious blowfish kaiseki meal. The tecchiri was delicious and contained rare parts of puffer fish. You can feel the quality of Tessa's knife handling. Please see photos for details. It's reasonably priced considering the content. The store isn't very big though. It was a relaxing atmosphere.
