Minakami, Gunma, Japan｜Gin-no-Tsuki

In addition to having really delicious and healthy food, the couple that own and run this place are incredibly warm and friendly. It is a bit higher end than a lot of places in the area, but well worth it, especially for a date. And they allow dogs on the terrace! A quick anecdote: our dog disappeared a couple of days ago, and despite only knowing the owners through eating there several times, they have gone completely out of their way to not only spread the news, but even offering a free meal to anyone that finds him!! True dog lovers and local Japanese community at its best. PLEASE give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!!

Very good restaurant, with good pork cutlet and dishes. The pork is high quality and deep fried nicely. The environment is really very nice with some background music and soft talking tone. Staff are Nice and patient, explaining to us different ingredients of the dishes. The tea is English tea.

We had delicious katsu lunch set at this eatery. Reasonably priced as well.
