Minakami, Gunma, Japan｜ラーメン香華

One of the best ramens we had during our 3 week trip around Japan. Rivaling the best in Tokyo. Get the chicken tsukemen—made using 3 different types of rare chicken. Its clear (chintan) broth is unique and packed full of flavour. When you’re done, dilute it with dashi and drink the goodness. Comes with a wedge of lime, menma and barely cooked pork chashu (which you cook further in the piping hot chicken brother). A refined experience in rural Japan!

All the food at this ramen shop, from the ramen, of course, so the friend rice, to the gyoza are all wonderfully delicious. As good as the best ramen shops I had in Tokyo.

Fantastic ramen - great stop on the way back from the mountain. Outside doesn’t look like anything special, but the ramen and presentation is top notch. Tried their Chicken broth ramen, tasty soup, chashu, chicken, Miri & some greens on top. Very nice.
