After climbing up Mt. Ohira to Kenshindaira, reward yourself with red bean paste dumplings 🚵😊 I always sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. The wind and the shade from the trees keep it cool and comfortable even in summer. The bean paste dumplings are Kusa dango and Shiratama dango topped with plenty of strained bean paste, which is good for replenishing calories! Moreover, I like it for the reasonable price of 330 yen 😄

Even though I tried various shops in Ohirayama, I finally settled on Izumiya. Once you place your order at the restaurant, you will receive a number and it will be brought to your table outside on the terrace. We had andango, mitarashi dango, tamagoyaki, yakitori, miso konnyaku, and wild vegetable soba. All of them are stable and delicious. The quantity of mitarashi dango is limited.

These dango are made with a pestle and are soft and very delicious. They also have a limited edition Mitsudango, and the tamagoyaki is as fluffy as a pancake and is exquisite. The chicken in the yakitori bowl is also tender and delicious. The customer service is also pleasant as the employees are well trained 🎵
