I've been curious about this restaurant for a while. The atmosphere of the restaurant was like an old folk house and it was very comfortable. It is a shop with a tasteful appearance run by an elderly couple. My wife says it looks like Totoro! That's what I'm talking about. Not only the hand-made udon (wheat is grown on their own farm), but also the building is handmade, and the vegetables they use are grown organically on their own farm. So, the salad is delicious and delicious. I always ask for a large serving. (The price remains the same.) You can choose between two types of udon: white or black (mixed with grains). Personally, white is THE udon! It has firmness. Black is chewy and unique. (I prefer white for cold udon and black or white for hot udon depending on my mood.) The menu includes kakiage udon, fox udon, curry udon, and hamburger udon. (hot, cold) is the basic menu. There are two lunch menus that change monthly. Depending on the season, there are maitake udon, kenchin udon, and carbonara udon. The contents of the kakiage change depending on the season. Garlic sprout tempura is also rare. (It was delicious.) Basically, the set comes with a salad, a seasonal dish (simmered dish, etc.), and an after-dinner drink of coffee (hot or iced), tea (hot or iced), and apple juice. (Things that don't come are cheap) There are sweet, medium-spicy, and dry curries. Sweet and dry are made differently depending on the ingredients, and the medium spiciness is a blend of them. Especially dry is called "Nilpika Curry", which is authentic Sri Lankan curry directly taught by Mr. "Nilpika" from Sri Lanka. (I'm not good at spicy food, so I always have a sweet one, and this is just right and delicious. My wife likes spicy food, so she raves about Nilpika Curry!) For the time being, there are various sets on the menu Depending on my mood at that time, I add kakiage, half curry, and hamburg steak. For dessert, cakes and ice cream made with vegetables are exquisite. I can't forget the sweet potato ice cream and the pumpkin ice cream. In addition, the senryu festival is held regularly. A theme is decided each time, and I make a senryu using it and submit it. First of all, 10 people will be selected as a qualifying pass by the husband of the shop. After that, it will be displayed in the store, and the customers who come to the store will vote for the special selection (1 person, 2,000 yen meal ticket) and the gold prize (3 people, 1,000 yen meal ticket). By the way, I was selected for the gold medal. (But my son is a special choice...) postscript In response to the TV broadcast, my wife said, "Every day is like an athletic meet." That's right, it's fully booked right after opening. Even though it takes time to provide handmade udon noodles, it takes even more time. It is not recommended for those who do not have enough time or who cannot wait for a long time (more than 30 minutes). In addition, the wife is handicapped, so please serve and clean up by yourself. I'm happy that my favorite shop is highly rated by many people, but I'm worried that it will be a burden on my husband and wife.
