I think this is probably the most famous soba restaurant in Tochigi City. Despite being in a remote area, it is extremely crowded at lunchtime on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. However, it is relatively empty from evening until closing time. Visited for the first time in about a year. What I'm looking for is not soba, but my favorite dish, yuzu-wrapped radish. Seasonal item from October. A local winter dish from Tochigi, made of yuzu peel wrapped in dried daikon radish and pickled in sweet vinegar. It's perfect for drinking, but it's a car. . And maitake mushroom tempura. This is my favorite tempura. Even though I am a udon fan myself, I can tell that soba has a strong soba aroma and a good texture. delicious! I'll come back when the new soba season comes around.

I wanted to eat a lot of soba and tempura, so instead of ordering tempura soba, I ordered a platter of soba and tempura. There are many soba restaurants near this restaurant, but other restaurants will stop serving soba once they run out of the soba they prepared that day. However, here at [Izuruya], a craftsman who specializes in making soba is constantly making soba, so there is no chance that you won't be able to eat soba during business hours. I was able to watch the soba making process from outside, so I watched until I was called over the loudspeaker when it was busy.
