Mashiko, Tochigi, Japan｜SONO蜩

Excellent food with a weekly lunch menu and great atmosphere! We sat outside on the deck. My bf and I found it on google and just went for it. The outside and inside makes you feel like at home, a French home hehe:)

I went to this restaurant the day after I met someone at Pakchi House Mashiko. First of all, the name is good! I arrived just before the store opened, so I took a look at the pottery outside. And then to the store. They also had local sake from Yamagata, where the host is from, and the whimsical lunch plate had a great selection and flavor, and the coffee brewed with a siphon was also excellent. It's a restaurant where you can spend a very relaxing and enjoyable time, with a consistent world view from the tableware to the food (though the restaurant staff seems to be busy due to its popularity!). It is a place where you can escape from the hustle and bustle and experience a completely different world. Creative meals and gentle flavors. Among them, grilled rice balls? The soup with it has become my favorite. This is a place I definitely want to visit. Of course I will visit again.
