Ordered the half karubi (meat from beef ribs) and Udon set, half oyakodon and Udon set, zarusoba and nameko Udon. Didn't have to wait for long and the karubi was personally my favourite, super flavourful, smoky sauce, super soft/tender. The Udons in the set came with a thick piece of Yuba which was soft and delicious in the broth. Oyakodon was also solid and nice. Zarusoba texture was very nice and the sauce was decent to dip into. Nameko Udon came with mushrooms and had a slightly different flavour to the set Udon and was very warming. Each meal also came with some black sesame mochi which was delicious. The sides that came with the sets like I think it was wasabi mushrooms were all delicious and our family decided to buy that one too to bring home. Some dishes are under 1000 yen while the sets were around 1200.

Situated right in front of Chuzenji bus stop. 1st floor is the souvenir shop and the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. We stopped for our lunch break and ordered ramen. It was good and the staff is nice too.

I ordered the recommended "Yuba-don set" written on the menu. At first, the image of yuba-don was that sashimi yuba was put on top of rice and eaten with soy sauce. ? I thought, but what came out was an egg binding like oyakodon, with a big round yuba on top. The soup stock, yuba, and eggs went well together and were very delicious. In addition, the amount of soba was large and it was soba with waist. It was a very satisfying set. The soba noodles were also delicious, so when I asked if they had them at the souvenir shop downstairs, they unfortunately didn't sell them. I'm so sorry!
