Moka, Tochigi, Japan｜裕

This is a gem of a restaurant in Moka, Tochigi. I live in Tokyo and was not expecting this level of sophistication in this area. The Master Chef is well acquainted with local produce and delicacies which he incorporates into his dishes and can pair with a selection of lovely junmai sake, of which he has a plentiful supply and of limited varieties. I recommend the course menu and ask for his recommended sake pairing. Will definitely go out of my way to eat here again.

It's a very soft kakuni, is this really kakuni? I can't help but doubt ❤️ It was delicious with a solid taste

The atmosphere is calm and quiet. A few years ago, I used it for lunch when I visited the shrine the other day for greetings before registering. The other day, I ate a 3500 yen course meal. Since it was 3500 yen, I felt that the overall volume was a little small, but the food came at a good tempo, and it was all very delicious and satisfying. I wrote that the amount was small, but after that there were events such as shrine visits, so I thought it would be good to be 80% hungry.
