Motegi, Tochigi, Japan｜Soba noodle shop

Delicious!

I visited on September 28th, 2022. This is a soba restaurant near Motegi Station. The store has an average appearance and gives a good impression of the calm atmosphere. Two of my acquaintances and I ordered Tenmori Soba and ate there. The soba noodles, tempura, and dipping sauce were all perfect and full of deliciousness. I'm glad I came and I'm grateful. The friendly attitude of the staff makes you feel at home. I'm glad I came to this store again.

I received 1600 yen for chakiri tempura soba. I don't know much about the soba except that it's matcha color, but it was easy to eat and it went down my throat. Tsuyu was unique above all. It was not only thick but also mellow, and the good aftertaste was impressive. Tempura is also great. It was so crispy that it made a crispy sound in my mouth, and the batter itself seemed to have a good taste. I ate all the tempura bits left in the basket. I think that the story is a big one. There was only one shrimp, but it had a thickness that felt like two layers of shrimp, and the flavor of the shrimp was plentiful. It has a toro taste that is just right for sobayu. I didn't have enough wasabi, so I'd like to add a little more. The inside of the store was a small shop with about 4 small table seats for 4 people and 3 counter seats. I entered the store around 13:00 on a holiday, but there was only one elderly couple, so I was lucky to be able to enjoy Yukkuri and soba.
