Motegi, Tochigi, Japan｜Genki

Ma and Pa Japanese soul food shop. Yakisoba and taiyaki, well made, quick and cheap. Bathroom is tricky to access.

I had some errands in Motegi, so I went to this restaurant looking for a place where I could have a light lunch. The parking lot was guided to the inner garage next door so as not to step on the manhole. BGM was a good old radio shop. There are 2 table seats for 4 people in the store. My companion ordered Omu Yakisoba (550 yen), and I ordered Okonomiyaki & Yakisoba Set (650 yen). I got freshly made on the iron plate in the store. The yakisoba was delicious, and the okonomiyaki was creamy and my favorite. Looking at the word of mouth, it seems that the price has been raised a little, but I wonder if it can be helped in this day and age. There was no air conditioner in the store, and the store staff said, "I'm sorry," and turned the fan toward us. After the meal, I had a small talk and talked to my child, and I was able to relax. I want it to last forever. Let's buy taiyaki next time!

Originally, I was running around the prefecture in search of delicious taiyaki, but the master here is enthusiastic about research and creates products and types that match the season, so I never get tired of it. I think taiyaki and yakisoba are the top three foods in Japan. It seems that there is a party pack for gifts and family, and the contents are consulted with the store, but it seems to be a great deal.
