Motegi, Tochigi, Japan｜Nishiki Sushi

Came across this place on our way from Twin Rings Motegi. What a great find! Very fresh excellent sushi.

Visited with staff the other day. I've had it sent to me many times already. Do you have any recommendations? When I asked about it, I was told that they would be grilling Spanish mackerel that day, so I ordered it. That's what looks like a mountain of onions in the image. You could call it Tosa-style tataki of very thickly cut Spanish mackerel. The seasonings go really well with it, and the Spanish mackerel is of course the best. It was wonderful. It's not as strong as bonito, so I was surprised that they cut it into thick pieces. It was delicious. The next picture is the platter of appetizers and the recommended 5 pieces of nigiri (I asked for a small serving of rice). As you can see in the picture, it's absolutely amazing. It was wonderfully delicious and completely filling. I drank some delicious Japanese sake and was very satisfied. I recommend it because it's really delicious no matter what you eat, but I don't like it when it's crowded so please don't go when you go lol I'll go again soon Thank you!

Today, I went to celebrate my child's 20th birthday with my mother and my family of five. I made a reservation for kaiseki cuisine and visited at noon. The appetizer oyster vinegar is the best. The freshly fried tempura has a crispy batter. The whale sashimi is thick but soft, and the tuna sashimi is fatty and fatty. The sushi has a large amount of material and the sushi rice that goes well with it is also the best. This is the store I want to visit next.
