Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜Daikokuan

As American and Thai visitors the menu and proprietor's reliance on Japanese made for some guesswork. The menu translated poorly. What arrived was delicious. The wild vegetables dish was mostly bamboo and mushrooms and was very good. This is a great stop for a quick lunch. It's nicer than nearby Cocos but not slow and fancy either. We would eat here again.

Ten soba set with tempura made mainly of vegetables such as wild plants, tomatoes, and paprika. It is also recommended to share with two or more people because there is a volume of tempura. . Ten soba 1,400 yen

A fine storefront. Delicious buckwheat tea. Thin soba noodles with a delicious crunch. The clerk's customer service is polite. My parents-in-law were delighted with the sidecar, and there was a great deal of talk about the beams inside the store. A nice soba restaurant. I'm glad I entered this store ＼(^o^)／
