Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜Tsukumasa Restaurant

One of the very few restaurants that was opened after 6 pm in the area. It was about a 5 minute walk from Kinugawa Plaza Hotel. We had dinner and ordered the Tonkatsu rice set, Unagi rice set, and cheese takoyaki. Everything was delicious. Spent about ¥5000. There was no English menu. But we used Google translate to take a photo of the menu to translate. Highly recommended. Took a bit of a wait for food to come out but wasn’t too bad. The owners were wonderful. Even gave us an umbrella due to unexpected rain.

Very good. We had Iwana and tempura mashroom, beef hamburger patti, Pork cutlet and cheese takoyaki. Everything was beyond expectation and also very reasonable price. We really liked it.

Many delicious dishes: deep fried squid, deep fried chicken (karaage), pork tonkatsu, especially mapo tofu.
