Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜おいしいごはん処 大丸 だいまる

It's located 2 minutes by car from Imaichi IC, but it's in a residential area, so if you don't know about it, you won't be able to come. Used it with my wife after 11 o'clock on a Sunday in August. We were the only customers. There are tables and counter seats, and a tatami room in the back. The menu is the same price on weekdays and holidays. My wife chose the ``Yuba Udon Zen (1200 yen)'' and I chose the ``Yuba Don Buri'' (900 yen). The bowl of raw yuba is creamy and rich in taste. The tempura is crunchy and delicious, as you would expect from a former soba restaurant. I think the udon noodles look small in the photo, but the bowl is deep enough and there's plenty of it. Yubadon is eaten by breaking a soft-boiled egg and pouring dashi soup over it. Are the pickles homemade? Both were carefully made and delicious.

It was cheap and each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. I will stop by again when I come to Kinugawa. Thank you for the meal🤗

It was delicious. I think the inside of the store is small, but I think it was nice and homely. There were small children there, so I was a bit nervous around Toshogu Shrine and didn't feel at ease, but this place was nice. The price and taste are goo!! It was ♪
