Very cozy and friendly old couple managing the place. Good to have english menu and plus point she will use phone translator to communicate incase both cant understand each other. Food is awesome, did not disappoint first night in Nikko, drove all the way from Shinjuku.

Great place to eat, the couple who are running this are very friendly. The food is nice and everything is realy authentiek. Try the plum wine with ice they have its brilliant. You shouldn't miss out a evening here!

Super cute izakaya. The owners are very nice and the locals were all very talkative and helpful. The curry udon and fried chicken were very good. The plum wine on the rocks is good if you like something sweet; it was less good mixed with soda water.
