It's pretty crowded at noon on holidays, I guess it's the same anywhere along the ring. However, as someone who likes Japanese food, I tend to choose folk crafts. 360 Nagasaki (not folk art) champon udon or sara udon, sometimes I order both when I'm extraordinarily hungry. By the way, if you show your JAF card, you can get free drinks for the number of people at any store. If you go a little north from here, you will find Toyosato. Behind it is the Utsunomiya Museum of Art.

Is udon the main thing? I guess you could call it a Japanese-style family restaurant. There are many lunch menus as well. I received a set of curry udon and tempura bowl♪ The tempura bowl had pumpkin, okra, lotus root, and two shrimps!!The rice was also quite filling. The sauce is a sweet tempura bowl. The curry udon also has quite a bit of meat in it, and at just over 1,000 yen for this set, it's a great deal! The udon noodles were chewy and the curry soup had just the right amount of texture and thickness, and it was also delicious (*´ω｀*) By the way, it was early summer when I visited you. They served me cold tea instead of cold water. I wish I had one locally...
