Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜草允わらび野

I visited for lunch on Sunday. I arrived 30 minutes before opening and barely made it into the first round. I went inside the store, wrote my name, and waited outside while taking a walk. I like the soba noodles to be transparent and grainy. The soup is thick but not salty and delicious. This is a soba restaurant that I would definitely like to come back to again.

I had an errand to go to Nikko in GW, so I stopped by. The clerk told me the scheduled time when I was filling out the form at the reception. Since there was some waiting time, I was walking around the Omuro Dam to pass the time. After entering the store, I ordered Morisoba, vegetable tempura, and anmitsu. Morisoba is simply delicious. There are various soba restaurants in Nikko, but I like the soba here the most. The vegetable tempura is quite large, so I shared it with my companion and it was delicious. Next time I will ask for kakiage! And anmitsu. It's anmitsu. If you come here, you should definitely eat. The moderately sweet red bean paste, the clear agar, and the black sugar syrup are perfectly balanced. It's a loss if you don't eat it.

Today, I went to Warabino, which was recommended by a friend♪ I ordered a soba lunch that is limited to 30 meals on weekdays. In addition to the soba noodles, there was a large plate of fried eggs and tempura warm vegetables, and the bagna cauda-like dish where the vegetables were dipped in sauce was very delicious! To finish, you can choose between coffee or anmitsu♪ The customer service is also very good and I am satisfied! In front of the shop is Omuro Dam, and behind it is a mountain with cherry blossom trees, so I'm sure it's wonderful during the cherry blossom season! I want to come back when the cherry blossoms bloom!
