Local Gaikokujin here. It has been a long time since I've been able to eat an actual soba dish. America didn't have much in the way of a normal bowl of soba without throwing something crazy into it to fit the American palette. I had the 小天丼セート (Shoutendon Set) with what I assumed was the local クラシックサクラ市酒 (Sakura City Classic Sake) and was very pleased with my meal. I can't compare it to any other soba sets as I've only been here a few weeks, but for a nice place to sit down and have a warm meal on a cold evening, there was nothing better for me. Also, for the good people working at the restaurant, I hope Google Translate will be enough to convey my appreciation for your speedy and delicious service.
