Mapo tofu set meal. Tofu is silken. Ginger and onion are effective. Slightly sweet. The acidity is moderate. The salty taste is also weak. There is a lot of bean paste and the color is light. This is old-fashioned mapo tofu. Sansho (Japanese pepper) is not used, but finely chopped ginger is used instead for a crunchy and pleasant texture. Adds a nice scent. Comes with rice, pickles (cucumber, radish), and soup.
