Nasushiobara, Tochigi, Japan｜Aurevoir

Good location, close to ttime station, and close to Nasu Garden Outlet. Lovely restaurant at the bottom of the hotel. The salad bar is great. There is a choice between salad bar only, or entree course. Both come with dessert and drink. There is a good variety of entree items, like pasta, pork, Tochigi beef, so it's perfect for any crowd or occasion. Occasionally it can get crowded on the weekends, so I would recommend making reservations.

For lunch, I received Nasu chicken fritto with green curry sauce (salad bar, drink, and dessert included) for 1,900 yen. For the main course, you can choose from pasta or meat dishes, and if you choose something other than pasta, you can choose bread or rice. For some reason, it also comes with a piece of pizza. The salad bar mainly consisted of leaf salads, but it also had cold soups, marinades, and hot side dishes (in this case, eggplant/zucchini gratin and pumpkin/sweet potato fritto), so it was pretty well stocked. I was told that the main green curry sauce was quite spicy, but it was just the right level of spiciness for people who like spicy food. I guess it's more like fried chicken served in Chinese food than frites. It even came with a one-plate dessert, so I was full. The staff at the store were very attentive and since it was a weekday, the store was empty so I had a relaxing time. Recommended if you want to eat plenty of vegetables.

Recommended for those who use Nasushiobara Station to see the Hayabusa Komachi Shinkansen after sightseeing in Nasushiobara by car. All of the salad buffets are delicious, and there are salmon salad, roast beef salad, pumpkin and salmon gratin, and it will fill you up. The gnocchi and bolognese for mains were also inventive. The best is pickles with a tingling scent of Japanese pepper. It was delicious and I changed it many times. There was a child chair and the child was delighted to eat. Unlike the bustling Nasushiobara tourist area, I was able to spend a relaxing time. Thank you for the meal. Since it is a hotel restaurant, the parking lot is wide and it is a restaurant where you can rest assured.
